Tracee L. Howell is Assistant Professor of English, Director of the Composition Program and the Writing Center, and Coordinator of Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, where she teaches courses in literature, composition, film, and gender/sexuality/women’s and cultural studies. Her most recent publication,“Manifesto of a Mid-Life White Feminist; Or, An Apologia for Embodied Feminism,” can be found in the Summer 2021 issue of Peitho. Currently immersed in finalizing a co-edited collection of essays on Afrofuturism for publication in 2022, her next project focuses on recovering the early 20th century fiction of Jewish American novelist, playwright and screenwriter, Vera L. Caspary.
