The Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies Program is excited to open the Lynn Layton award applications for Spring of 2020. This award offers support for students who are engaged in the study of women, gender, and sexuality, and are interested in working with Pittsburgh non-profit organizations that offer community support and engagement opportunities in the field of GSWS. Internship sites will vary and will be arranged through the GSWS program.
This award is available for Spring 2020 and is supported by a stipend of $1,500 (paid in two installments). Interns will be expected to complete a minimum of 6 hours of service per week, to meet with a faculty mentor, and to present at an internship workshop.
