Kathryn Fleisher, who is double majoring in GSWS and Politics & Philosophy, has been selected for a University Honors College Research Fellowship this semester. Her advisor for the project is Dr. Jackie Smith (Sociology). Fleisher will study Pittsburgh’s Multicultural Liaison Unit, which was founded in 2017 to improve the Department of Public Safety’s ability to serve immigrant and refugee communities.
